Hi, I’m Aurelija Akelaitis (yes, it’s a bit of a tongue twister! 😄). I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and the founder of LET IT GO.

Many people struggling with food feel stuck in an exhausting mental cycle, constantly thinking about what to eat, trying to stay in “control”, and feeling discouraged when patterns repeat. Often, the real struggle isn’t just food itself, but the emotional stress and self-criticism that come with it.

My interest in this work was informed by my own experiences navigating challenges with food and body image at different points in my life. Those experiences deepened my understanding of the emotional side of change, while my work with clients is grounded in professional training, clinical knowledge, and evidence-based psychotherapy.

My approach centers on creating a supportive therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and open communication. Together, we work toward meaningful and sustainable change.
